# Setup

Step-by-step install guides for the Sportmonks MCP server on each supported platform.

### Before you start

You'll need:

* [Node.js 18+](https://nodejs.org)
* A Sportmonks API token - get one at [my.sportmonks.com](https://my.sportmonks.com/subscriptions)
* The AI tool you want to connect already installed

The server is published on npm as `sportmonks-football-mcp-server`. There is no cloning or building required - your AI tool will download and run it automatically via `npx`.
