Statuses and definitions
Fixture status definitions
A fixtures moves between several statuses. It has an initial status, can be delayed, has been finished or any of the statuses described below.
Definition | Explanation | Information |
| Not Started | The initial status of a game |
| Live | The game is currently inplay |
| Half-Time | The game currently is in half-time |
| Full-Time | The game has ended after 90 minutes. When a game goes into extra time, the FT status will be presented for a few seconds and then move to the BREAK status. |
| Extra-Time | The game currently is in extra time, can happen in knockout games |
| Penalty Shootout | ET status didn't get a winner, penalties are taken to determine the winner |
| Finished after extra time | The game has finished after 120 minutes |
| Regular time finished | Waiting for extra time or penalties to start |
| Full-Time after penalties | Finished after penalty shootout |
| Canceled | The game has been canceled |
| PostPoned | The game has been postponed |
| Interrupted | The game has been interrupted. Can be due to bad weather |
| Abandoned | The game has abandoned and will continue at a later time or day |
| Suspended | The game has suspended and will continue at a later time or day |
| To Be Announced | The game does not have a confirmed date and time yet. It will be announced later on. |
| Awarded | Winner is being decided externally |
| Delayed | The game is delayed so it will start later |
| Walk Over | Awarding of a victory to a contestant because there are no other contestants |
| Awaiting Updates | Can occur when there is a connectivity issue or something |
| Deleted | Game is not available anymore via normal api calls because it has been replaced. This can happen in leagues that have a lot of changes in their schedules. The games can still be retrieved by adding deleted=1 to your request so you can update your system properly |
Event type definition
We host several events related to a fixture. Find below the event types with the description or their meaning.

| A goal has been scored |
| Penalty has been scored |

| Own goal |
| Information about VAR events like canceled goals etc |
| Yellow card is given for a player |
| Second yellow card for player resulting in a red |
| Direct red card |
| A player got substituted and new player got in |
| Penalty in penalty shootout has been scored |
| Penalty in penalty shootout has been scored |
VAR-events type definition
At the moment we have the var events Goal Disallowed
and Goal under review

If there is a var check, the event type is set to the second one. When the check is over, the goal is disallowed or the event type is set to a goal.

Weather can be of great influence on the final result of a game or on the performance of the teams. A list of possible conditions is given below.

| A league from one country. I.e The English Premier League, Serie A, La Liga etc. |
| A cup from one country. I.e The F.A Cup, DFB Pokal, Coppa Italia etc. |
| A league for international teams. I.e World Cup, European Championship, Copa America |
| An international cup. I.e UEFA Champions League, Copa Libertadores, UEFA Europa League |
